Job Purpose<\/span><\/strong>:<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

To market the Bank\u2019s products and manage customer relationships through proactive and consultative approaches with the aim of acquiring profitable new business, retaining existing business relationships and maintaining high quality portfolios geared towards realization of the Bank\u2019s mission and vision.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Acquisition of profitable new SME clients to achieve defined sales targets in liabilities and assets to grow the market share in line with the Bank\u2019s strategic direction.<\/li>\n
  • Identify business opportunities within the existing portfolio and establish mechanisms of growing customer relationships with the Bank.<\/li>\n
  • Manage assigned credit portfolios and monitor the quality of existing credit.<\/li>\n
  • Review, analyze, screen and confirm all documentation submitted by the client before submission for recommendation and approval as per credit risk procedure.<\/li>\n
  • Market the Bank\u2019s products in all sectors of the Ugandan market in line with the Bank\u2019s defined segments, set targets and strategic objectives.<\/li>\n
  • Make daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly customer visits and prepare call reports in a bid to retain customers and offer solutions to their needs.<\/li>\n
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean portfolio with zero Non-Performing Loans (NPLs).<\/li>\n
  • Prepare weekly activity reports and submit them to the line Manager.<\/li>\n
  • Initiate and carry out recovery action on non-performing loans within your respective portfolio.<\/li>\n
  • Review and maintain a comprehensive database of existing relationships\/prospects and establish ways of retaining and growing the portfolios in compliance with the Bank\u2019s policies and procedures.<\/li>\n
  • Recommend changes required to meet the set targets and customer expectations in line with the Bank\u2019s policy and procedure.<\/li>\n
  • Attend all weekly business meetings and always keep time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


    Education.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • A Bachelor\u2019s degree in a relevant discipline.<\/li>\n
    • Professional qualification in banking (e.g. MBA) is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Experience.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • A minimum of three (3) years\u2019 experience in a similar role in the banking industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
